Racial Harmony Day

On Monday,21st July,we celebrated Racial Harmony Day.In my opninion,it was quite fun.We even had a 1-hour recess.:D
The P3s and P4s went first.Their recess was 9:00am-10:00am.From 10:00-10:45 was a play called:'The Importance Of Being Kaypo.'It was really boring.From 10:45-11:45 we had our recess.There were a few stalls set up in the canteen,Parade square and the Skylite cafe.The stalls in the canteen sold traditional food like dragon beard candy and ice balls.The stalls in the Parade square were closed as it started to rain.:(.My mother,who was managing a stall in the Parade square told me that the items sold were sold out.The P3s and P4s bought 'em all and us P5s and P6s couldnt try them.(it was really unfair):(.
In the Skylite cafe,there was a photograph booth.We could dress up in traditional costumes and pose for pictures.i didn't,however.Near the photo booth was another stall that had traditional games like five-stones and pick up sticks.
When our recess was over,we went back to class to make something called a garland.The p1s and P2s made paper balls and the P3s and P4s made a bunga mangga.To make a garland,we were give:a string,some brown and white coloured paper.we had to cut the edges of the paper and then fold it up.after that we tied it to the string.I didn't finish mine as there was no time and i didn't finish it at home as i couldn't be bothered.:D
Altogether,i think it was a fun day and i hope something like this comes up again.:D Bye!!
